The empty street pose

As one of the  ideas I always love to do as a photographer is to find an empty street and get my couples to walk for 30-50 meters and face me, holding hands and stand as far away form each other as possible. If you are lucky enough to have a street which goes over a top of a hill, you can do the effort the get the bride and groom to be on the top ot the fill as they will be on teh horion line. In the image below I have managed to have a very distant ocean background. Not easy to do as probably you won’t find this kind of special spot on a wedding day

You can do this also in a park on a footpath, if you cannot find a street, a corridor or anything that shows distance

Similar pose can be done under an archway. After the holding hands, in the same position, you can shoot the bridal couple closer together, hugging, kissing or do the DIP

You need to use a telephoto lens if you wish to have a nice depth of field effect
